AT HOLY APOSTLES
Holy Apostles will require the wearing of masks

This notice will be posted on
Holy Apostles’ website prior to Saturday’s worship service.

Greetings to you as July is coming to an end
and August is nearly upon us.

In the past few weeks we have heard reports of rising levels of infections of COVID-19 in our nation and in our state.

On Tuesday July 27, 2021 the U.S. Centers for Disease Control released new guidance for the wearing of masks indoors.

In response to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control’s recommendations of July 27, 2021, due to the rising levels of infections of COVID-19, the RRR Task Force of the Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey is recommending congregations return to requiring face masks that fully cover the nose and mouth for indoor activities for all worship attendees and outside group participants immediately, regardless of vaccination status, in counties where the infection rate is more than 5 per 100K.

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 case rate has surpassed the 5 per 100K level in our area showing a rapid rise in the past weeks.

Canon Art Powell will be returning from vacation next week. While still on vacation he spoke with Deacon Denise in regards to the Diocesan recommendation and supports the decision of the leadership of the parish.

Based on the above information the leadership of Holy Apostles' will require the wearing of masks effective immediately. Deacon Trisha and Deacon Denise support this decision. We ask for your cooperation and understanding as you follow the return to wearing masks.

Thank you,
Lynda Dickson and Bette Noble
