Muskegon Co-op FCU is upgrading our Fraud Detection and Notification System. Starting June 2, 2021 our fraud alert team will send a text message to the member if suspicious activity is detected on their debit card. The text message will include transaction details such as date, dollar amount, merchant name, location, etc. If the transaction was authorized and valid, members can select “Yes”. If the transaction was not authorized, members can select “No” or contact the credit union. If the fraud alert team does not hear back from the member, they will attempt to call the member on the primary phone on the account to verify the transaction. Members must have their cell phone listed as the primary phone number on file with the credit union. If you have any questions, please contact the credit union at 231-726-4871.
