Term Bill & Financial Aid Reminders:
System delays are being experienced and we ask that you remain patient as all aid/scholarships are applied to your term bills.
- Please ensure you have completed and submitted your 2024-2025 FAFSA & HESSA application if you are eligible to do so.
- Please ensure you waive the University Health Insurance if you are personally covered (RFS does not cover this cost, however if you do have need for the University Insurance and cannot cover this cost please email us promptly)
- Please ensure you Zero Out/Decline your Loans in the Awards Portal if you do not intend to use them
- Please ensure ALL documents in your awards portal are complete in advance of term bills being release
Additionally all first year or transferring RFS Scholars attending RU this Fall MUST complete and submit the RFS Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) via your myrutgersportal
- Go to your dashboard
- Scroll down to the financial aid section
- A tab named "Documents" should be visible
- The RFS MOU should be requested
- Download and provide all necessary signatures
- Submit to your portal
The MOU should be available if you do not see the MOU by this date please email a screenshot with your RUID & NetID to Miss Zoe.
Likewise any financial aid question please include a screenshot of your term bill and email Miss Zoe promptly.

If you are not directly receiving the RFS email newsletter please send an email to Miss Zoe requesting to be added to the listserv.
All scholars currently enrolled at Rutgers should have access to the RFS Canvas page. More updates will be posted in the coming weeks so stay tuned. If you do not have access please email Miss Zoe!
*First year undergrads/RU Transfer scholars also should have received an invitation to join the RFS Propel Series via Canvas. Please be sure to follow-up with Mr. Denzell
