Dear Families, Guardians, and Staff,
We are pleased to report that thus far all test results have been negative! We have extended the closing of our programs to Monday, August 3rd, to allow more time for results to be submitted. Staff who have tested negative should report to work Monday. We will ensure transportation routes and program preparation is completed so that program participants who have tested negative may return on Tuesday, August 4th.
Our mobile testing site yesterday (7/29) was a success.
T
he Community Health Center
is to be commended. They immediately sprang into action to assist us and put together this mobile testing pop up event in less than 48 hours. They were here for 5-hours and tested over 100 people. The Middletown Director of Public Health was also very supportive in this process.
If you have not been tested, we strongly advise you to do so. Testing is available at the Community Health Center (
https://www.chc1.com/covid-19-testing/
) and select CVS, Walgreens or urgent care centers across the state. Contact the testing site in advance for registration and requirements.
If you do not get tested, you need to quarantine until August 10th.
Thank you all for your understanding and cooperation during these hard times. We are experiencing change every day but will continue doing everything we can to combat the virus and ensure that everyone stays safe. We promise to keep you up to date on our latest news and progression. Your support helps us every step of the way.
Remember:
Staff with negative results return to work on Monday, August 3rd.
Program is open to participants who have tested negative on Tuesday August 4th.
Sincerely,
Linda Iovanna
