ARTIST OPPORTUNITIES FROM OUR FRIENDS:

  • Resources & Emergency Relief for Freelance Artists
Dear Friends,

Here at EtM, we are working with our host partners and our resident artists to decide on programming for the spring.   The safety of our audiences and artists is a primary concern.

Our host facilities are closed or operating at reduced hours at this time. We are assessing which programs will be postponed, rescheduled or canceled in the coming months.

We will be sending emails and updating our social media in order to keep the community informed.  Be well and stay safe!

SpaceFinder NYC

Back in 2001, Exploring the Metropolis created, developed and launched NYC Music Places, a searchable database of rehearsal and performance spaces for musicians. It caught on.

Later we added NYC Dance Places, then NYC Theater Spaces, and finally consolidated it all into NYC Performing Arts Spaces. (You can read more about the history of our programs and services  here .)

In 2008, recognizing that the technology was advancing, we transferred this asset, now known as SpaceFinder.
