Brian Collins Executive Director |
Chicago-native Brian Collins joined IMRF as Executive Director on January 8, 2018. Previously Chief Financial Officer and Director of Finance and Administration for the City of Memphis, Tennessee, Collins became the seventh Executive Director of IMRF since the Fund began operations in 1941.
Collins holds a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from DePaul University, an M.B.A in Finance and Accounting from The Ohio State University, and a J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago.
Collins said it was a "great honor" to join IMRF, an organization recently honored with a Gold Award for Achievement of Excellence for outstanding member and employer customer service.
"This is an outstanding organization, and my initial goal is to just keep the momentum going," Collins said. "To remain a leader in our industry, we always have to be looking for ways to improve, and I promise you we will do so when it comes to employer services and communication."
