Please join us in mourning the loss of Captain Terryson Jackson from the BSO Department of Fire Rescue and Emergency Services.

Jackson’s mother and father were both nurses, which inspired him to pursue a career in the medical field to help others. A firefighter and paramedic, he was a 19-year veteran with the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

As a flight paramedic, Captain Jackson impacted the community daily, providing critical patients with the highest pre-hospital care. He consistently showed an unmatched passion for the job, while providing expert care, compassion, and reassurance to those during their most significant time of need.

Jackson leaves behind two children who will receive our full support during this difficult time and beyond.

In honor of Captain Terryson Jackson's ultimate sacrifice and all first responders who have ever been lost in the line of duty, we are accepting donations in their memory. This allows us to continue fulfilling our mission of Protecting Those Who Protect Us. To donate, please click below.
