Taking Charge of Your Emergency Preparedness
The Council on Aging of Ottawa and the Canadian Red Cross are proud to bring you the Smart Aging Workshop on “Taking Charge of Your Emergency Preparedness”.
 
This workshop has been designed specifically for older adults.
 
Emergency situations take us by surprise, including winter storms, heat waves, power outages, flooding, earthquakes, and more.

This workshop will explore the unique concerns for older adults, and help participants prepare themselves for the unexpected.

Nurturing Resiliency and Mental Wellness

May is Mental Health Month and on May 29th we invite you to join us to increase your knowledge related to mental health, mental illness, well-being, and resiliency as we age. 

We'll share some useful tools and ideas to help you create tangible and concrete plans to support mental wellness. Issues surrounding COVID will also be considered.
