Participants will explore what’s involved (practically, emotionally, and financially) in continuing to live independently with services and supports. This will include an overview of common needs, available options, and financial considerations.

Navigating In and Out of the Hospital

Friday, March 14th, 2025 | 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Rideau Hub | 815 St. Laurent Blvd. | Room 235

Participants will determine how to prepare for, navigate through, and return home from both a planned and unplanned hospital admission. Discussion will include powers of attorney, reducing the risk of readmission, as well as recovery and convalescence.

Winter Walking Community Audits

A Snow Moles Campaign

What will the Snow Moles do this Winter 2025? Instead of the same old same old, we are shaking things up! Join the Pedestrian Safety and Walkability Sub-Committee for the three Winter Walking Community Audits to promote safe and accessible winter walking for all ages.



Come and enjoy a short 15-minute winter walk and observe what’s around us, as well as the snow and ice underfoot. We will complete a community audit report and share it with the city before the summer.

A Positive Approach to Dementia Care

This workshop is for caregivers and family members who are looking to learn strategies and tools to help support their loved one who is living with dementia.
