Construction Continues on Central New York’s New Center for Innovation

Crews from Hueber Breuer and E. Smith Construction are busy at work on the site of CenterState CEO’s The Tech Garden. Expanding CenterState CEO’s business incubator facility at 235 Harrison Street will enable Syracuse to meet the pace of its rapid tech industry growth and broaden the reach and impact of those served by the incubator to drive more equity and inclusivity in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The 46,000 square-foot expansion will encompass incubation, acceleration and support of tech startups, as well as non-tech startups and small businesses run by founders from underrepresented populations.

Be a Collection Location for the 10th Annual Mark J. Palumbo Memorial Clothing Drive, in honor of Nancy Premo

In partnership with the Rescue Mission, CenterState CEO will host the 10th annual Mark J. Palumbo Memorial Clothing Drive in honor of Nancy Premo, Jan. 27 to Feb. 29, 2024. This clothing drive was started by CenterState CEO’s late Vice President of Human Resources Nancy Premo in memory of her son, Mark, who lost his life Jan. 27, 2014 from hypothermia. Each January, she worked with local businesses and partners to collect warm clothing and gear to help prevent others from losing their life due to exposure.

When Nancy passed away suddenly in 2019, CenterState CEO staff committed to continuing the clothing drive each winter to honor her memory. With an ongoing need in the community, we are calling on our business community to join us as we collect donations. If you are interested in serving as a donation collection location during the upcoming drive, please contact Christa Glazier.
