Happy October!

The Holidays Are Coming!

Is Your Marketing Ready?

Christmas may still be a few months away, but for businesses, now is the time to start thinking ahead.

That doesn’t mean you need to start posting Christmas content tomorrow. It just means it’s time to start building your holiday marketing plan now. October and November can fill up quickly, and a little preparation now can save you from a lot of scrambling in December.

Planning ahead gives your business time to:

  1. Map out promotions and campaigns. Give yourself time to decide what you want to offer and how you'll promote it.
  2. Stay top-of-mind with customers. People start researching gifts, making wish lists, and looking for holiday events well before December.
  3. Create better content. Photos, videos, graphics, gift guides, and other holiday content take time to plan and produce.
  4. Avoid the last-minute rush. Having a plan in place means you can focus on your customers when the holiday season gets busy.

At INSPYR, we believe the best marketing doesn't happen at the last minute. It's planned with purpose and built to help your business make the most of every season.

Devotional

When we want to get to know someone, one of the first things we ask is, “What’s your name?” But knowing someone’s name can become so much more than simply knowing what to call them. Over time, their name can remind us of who they are and what they are like.

The same is true of God. When God revealed His name to Moses, He also revealed His character:

“The LORD—the LORD is a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger and abounding in faithful love and truth.” — Exodus 34:6

God didn’t simply tell Moses His name. He showed him who He is. He is compassionate. He is gracious. He is slow to anger. He is full of faithful love and truth.

When we begin to question God’s goodness or wonder if His love is conditional, we can return to His character. We can remind ourselves of who He has always shown Himself to be and ask Him to help us know Him more deeply.

To truly know God’s name is to know His character. Look to Jesus, remember who He is, and let what He has done for you shape the way you see everything.
