Happy September!

Made With AI? Google and Meta are Paying Attention!

AI is changing the way businesses create and market content. And now, Google and Meta are changing the way that content is identified, too.

AI-generated images, videos, and other creative assets can look completely authentic to the human eye. But behind the scenes, platforms are developing technology that can recognize when AI has been used. For businesses and marketers, understanding these changes now means staying ahead of where digital marketing is headed. AI is becoming a bigger part of marketing, and knowing how to use it strategically matters.

Here’s what businesses need to know:

  1. AI content is becoming identifiable. Tools like Google's SynthID can add invisible digital watermarks to AI-generated content, making it possible to identify it even when the content has been cropped, filtered, or compressed.
  2. Platforms are becoming more transparent. Google and Meta are increasingly adding AI labels and disclosures to content when they detect that AI was used to create or edit it.
  3. An AI label doesn't automatically mean less reach. Being labeled as AI and being penalized by an algorithm are two different things. However, unoriginal, low-quality, or repetitive content can be deprioritized. AI can be a helpful tool for your marketing, but it shouldn't replace original ideas, authentic brand content, or the human touch that makes your business stand out.
  4. Strategy still matters. AI can help marketers create more efficiently, but great marketing still comes down to creativity, originality, consistency, and knowing your audience.

Staying ahead isn't about using AI everywhere. It's about knowing where AI can make your marketing better. As Google and Meta continue evolving their approach to AI-generated content, marketers have an opportunity to adapt, stay informed, and use new technology without losing the strategy and creativity that make marketing work.

At INSPYR, we're always looking ahead so our clients can, too.

Devotional

When we want to get to know someone, one of the first things we ask is, “What’s your name?” But knowing someone's name can become so much more than knowing what to call them. Over time, their name can remind us of who they are and what they are like. The same is true of God. When God revealed His name to Moses, He also revealed His character.

“The LORD—the LORD is a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger and abounding in faithful love and truth.” (Exodus 34:6)

God didn't simply tell Moses His name. He showed him who He is. He is compassionate. He is gracious. He is slow to anger. He is full of faithful love. When we begin to question God's goodness or wonder if His love is conditional, we can turn back to His character. We can ask Him to help us know Him more deeply.

And we see His character most clearly through Jesus. His very name means “The LORD is salvation.” Through Jesus, God's compassion and grace were revealed to us in the most powerful way.To truly know God's name, look to Jesus. When we understand who He is and what He has done for us, it changes the way we see everything.
