Today is International Women’s Day and this year’s theme is #BreakTheBias against women. The arms crossed, hands raised pose signifies solidarity with people across the globe who support the campaign:

Individually, we're all responsible for our own thoughts and actions - all day, every day.
We can break the bias in our communities.
We can break the bias in our workplaces.
We can break the bias in schools and colleges.
Together, we can all break the bias - on International Women's Day and beyond.

At WMI headquarters in Buyobo, Uganda our leadership team struck the #BreakTheBias pose and composed a new song to emphasize how the loan program has helped decrease gender-based violence in local villages:

Gone are the days of beating.
Gone are the days of fighting.
Gone are the days of violence.
Raise and break gender biasness.
