What is faith? Hebrew 11:1 tells us Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
There are no strategies to faith, just as when we were born again we had to believe (have faith) in someone. That someone was our Lord Jesus Christ, in order to receive salvation. When we put our complete trust and confidence in the Lord, this is faith! Our faith grows based on our personal relationship with the One whom we put our trust and confidence in. He is the only one who can bring anything to fruition in our lives. The Lord is trustworthy and He will honor His word and promise to us. But this can only happen when we do our part as believers. Why will He do this? Because our trust and confidence is based on our personal relationship with Him.
No one can put their hands on you and impart faith to you, this is personal, one on one with the Lord! Your faith will grow based on your personal relationship with Him.
If we want our faith to grow, we must position ourselves to know Him.
Faith does not grow overnight, or in the blink of an eye- it is not magic either. It requires time. As we position ourselves and give our will to Him, and as we walk in obedience, we become strong in the Lord and the power of His might. We mature and our faith grows because we come to a place of knowing Him, knowing what He requires from us to live for Him. This relationship is built based on our fellowship with Him.
It’s time for the people of the kingdom to walk in the spirit and arise in faith!
We are people of the spirit. We walk in the spirit (supernatural realm), not in the flesh (natural realm).
Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16
Many believers look for strategies to faith and they have not received because they
have placed their trust and confidence on natural things (carnality is of the flesh, based on what you can do).
Nothing will happen in our lives if our position is not in the right standing, in the right position with the Lord. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:2 What I mean by this is that our position must be built based on our trust and confidence in knowing the Lord, based on our personal relationship and intimacy with the Lord. If we don't align ourselves with the truth of the word of God personally, there will be no growth to truly coming to the place of knowing Him. Years will go by in our lives and nothing will happen, change and transformation will not take place in us. If we believe in the gospel, then we align ourselves with the word. To live for the Lord requires that we do our part. Then, the Lord can do what He said He has promised.
We receive because we have faith in the One that can make anything happen for us.
Perhaps your trust and confidence has not been in the Lord. You may have thought that your trust and confidence was in Him, but you have come to realize that everything that you were doing was because of what you can do, with your power, (flesh) not allowing the Lord to do it from your personal relationship with Him.
Be assured that the Lord is there to meet us where we are. If our faith is not growing in Him, then we must position ourselves upwardly. We are here in this world but we are not of this world. Because we are spiritual people and not of this world, we operate in the spirit.
This is just a reminder, do not look to the left or to the right, always looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Hebrews 12:2
Let me leave you with this. Strategies are of man. What you can do for yourself, is not faith. Put your complete trust and confidence in the Lord! With God everything is through faith. Amen!
