PARCS has recently received a 5-page letter from the newly established CANADA WATER AGENCY, stating: "Waters across the country are under threat. We applaud the federal government for establishing this Agency." (Click the link at the bottom of this notice to read that letter.) The letter provides a perfect opportuntiy to introduce you to our PARCS Spring Seminar about Lakes and Rivers in Saskatchewan. WED. MAY 26, 7:00 pm - PROVINCIALLY - Peter Leavitt addresses the question: "Why are Saskatchewan lakes and rivers no longer clear?

WED. JUNE 2, 7:00 pm - SASK ENVIRONMENT - Jeri Geiger - Our Sask. Invasive Species Coordinator, will describe the province's effort to keep invasive species out of our lakes.

WED. JUNE 9, 7:00 pm - A COUNCIL PERSPECTIVE - Joe Jozsa, former Parks planner and current community planner will speak to plans and zoning bylaws that keep one eye on the environment.

WED. JUNE 16, 7:00 pm - A SUMMARY PERSPECTIVE - Information to follow about our panel of final speakers.
