SENATE APPROPRIATIONS
Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government reviews FY18 budget of Securities and Exchange Commission and Commodity Futures Trading Commission.  SEC Chairman Jay Clayton  and CFTC Acting Chairman Christopher Giancarlo will outline their spending prioriteis for the coming year. The SEC is requesting $1.602 billion, a bit less than the current amount. The CFTC asked for $31.5 million more than the White House's $250 million request.
