House scheduled to take up  H.R. 6392, which has little chance of becoming law this year but could foreshadow Republican efforts to undo systemic risk regulations in 2017. The bill  would change the Dodd-Frank requirement that any bank with $50 billion in assets be automatically considered a systemically important financial institution and SIFI designation would require a decision by a supermajority of Financial Stability Oversight Council regulators.
