Closed board meeting to discuss the advance and discount rates charged by the Federal Reserve banks.

The Chicago Fed will host the Large-Bank Directors Conference for independent directors at firms with assets above $50 billion that are not designated among the most systemically important. Directors, their peers, and senior Fed supervisors will discuss governance, cybersecurity, and capital planning.

Open board meeting to discuss a final rule establishing restrictions on qualified financial contracts of systemically important U.S. banking organizations
and the U.S. operations of systemically important foreign banking organizations.
Board will vote on a final rule to keep derivatives contracts from being canceled immediately when one of the involved financial firms fail.
So-called stays in financial contracts would cover derivatives trades, securities lending and repurchase agreements.
Fed's final rule would align with international effort.
