SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION
The Office of the Investor Advocate's will hold a Commission Evidence Summit  to discuss ways to enhance retail investors' understanding of fees, returns, conflicts of interest and other investing concepts.  The event will market the launch of the OIA's new initiative POSITIER - Policy Oriented Stakeholder and Investor Testing for Innovative and Effective Regulation.The focus of the conference is to gather economic and scientific research to provide insights into investor behavior. It also hopes to "identify areas for possible future research to be conducted under the auspices of an investor research initiative led by the OIA."  Discussion topics include investor behavior; facilitating disclosure for a wide variety of users; and improving disclosure of discrete items such as fees, strategies and performance. Acting Chairman Michael Piwowar and Commissioner Kara Stein, the commission's only current members, will speak at the gathering.
