At the New York Fed, Treasury Department, Federal Reserve, Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Securities and Exchange Commission, and Commodity Futures Trading Commission will hold the fourth annual conference on the evolving structure of the U.S. Treasury market. Scheduled keynote speakers include CFTC Chair J. Christopher Giancarlo, the Fed's Lael Brainard, and Treasury Counselor to the Secretary Craig Phillips.

The CFTC's Market Risk Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting to discuss  clearinghouse risk and vendor risk management.  MRAC members, CFTC staff, and guests will discuss current issues impacting clearing in panels focusing on 
  1. clearinghouse governance structures and risk management; 
  2. management of non-default losses in recovery and resolution; and

  3. propose rules under Section 15F(i)(2) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 that would require security-based swap dealers and major security-based swap participants to comply with certain risk mitigation techniques with respect to portfolios of security-based swaps not submitted for clearing to a central counterparty.
