September Community Conversation
Tackling Racial Inequity in Early Childhood Settings: Moving Beyond Equity Toward Justice

One year ago, we hosted Sue Gallagher to help us confront our own implicit biases and begin to understand structural racism and how it impacts our community. Despite the pandemic, many of us have continued to advance equity through conversations, community forums, peaceful protests and more. We made the commitment to continue uncovering examples of racism and how it reveals itself in our various sectors. This month we are dedicating our entire Professional Network to examine early childhood education. Our guest speaker, Ms. Crystal Morris, is helping organizations across the state move from diversity to equity to justice. Join us on September 28 as we make an uncomfortable conversation comfortable.
