Dear Friends,

It is 2018 which means this year we will organize the 3rd Annual Car Free Day NYC! This effort grows bigger and bolder every year thanks to your dedication to a greener earth. In 2017, it was named a reason to love New York by New York Magazine.

Our first planning meeting for this year's Car Free Day will be on Tuesday, January 30th at  9:30 AM at DC 37, 125 Barclay Street in Manhattan Exact location will be shared soon. We will begin to develop plans for an even more impactful event on Earth Day, Sunday April 22nd, 2018.

This past year we closed down Broadway from Union Square to Times Square, and five additional streets throughout the city.  We aim to be even more ambitious in our approach with Car Free Day 2018 and expand the CFD family with expert partners who can help make this event even more successful.

Please RSVP HERE. You may email Stephanie Miliano at smiliano@council.nyc.gov with any questions.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Sincerely,

Ydanis Rodriguez
