Why did you decide to become an optometrist?
Loved the idea of providing a medical service and having the ability to own a practice.
Why did you join the IOA?
To be with my Iowa colleagues, to learn from each other, to help our profession in our state.
What do you enjoy the most about volunteering?
I love to be involved. Being involved in Government Relations, pushing our profession forward is very important to me.
What's one thing - either industry related or not - you learned in the last month?
There are more options in orthokeratology than just Paragon CRT. Parameters are expanding which is exciting to offer to new patients.

Easy - tacos
