We are pleased to share with you IOM’s latest research outputs and updates, including a recent publication on 'young women and girls and labour migration in South-East Asia and the Pacific', a Press Briefing Note on the World Migration Report (WMR) 2018 whose downloads have now surpassed 400,000, an internship opening in IOM's Migration Policy Research Division and a link to the latest UN DESA international migrant stock estimates (included in the forthcoming WMR 2020). Supporting Brighter Futures: Young women and girls and labour migration in South-East Asia and the Pacific

This recently published research explores and critically examines the existing evidence base on key aspects of  young women and girls and labour migration in South-East Asia and the Pacific. It includes six thematic papers written by various experts in a format designed to inform policy and programmatic responses.

World Migration Report 2018 Downloads Top 400,000

Published at the end of 2017, the World Migration Report 2018 has enjoyed over the past 20 months some 400,000 downloads, the most of any publication in IOM’s six-plus decades of producing reports. If you have not read the report, click here to access it.

Internship: Migration Policy Research

UN DESA International Migrant Stock Estimates
The recently released 2019 UN DESA international migrant stock estimates have been incorporated in the forthcoming World Migration Report 2020. Find UN DESA’s updated estimates, maps and graphs here. The WMR 2020 will be launched at IOM Council in November 2019.
