Holy Day of Obligation
The Vatican recently announced that solemn feast days which are transferred from Sunday to Monday are still to be observed by Catholics as days of obligation. As such, the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception on Mon, Dec 9 is a holy day of obligation.

Christmas Giving Trees
The Christmas Giving Trees are up and loaded with envelopes for donations of gift cards. Your donation will help families less fortunate this Christmas. We ask that all gift cards be returned by Dec 11th.

Sunday, Dec 8, following the Masses, visit the Parish Hall to meet Bishop St Nicholas! Youth will have an opportunity to enter the Knights of Columbus "Keep Christ in Christmas" poster contest. Families are invited to bring a canned good to benefit the IOP Food Pantry. | |

Join us for the inaugural Cupcake Wars hosted by the IOPCS Home and School Association. Bakers in youth and adult divisions are invited to compete for people's choice awards. Admission and voting tickets will be available at the door, and additional cupcakes will be available at the concession bar.
$5: Admission for 1 person + 1 voting ticket + 1 cupcake.
$10: Admission for up to 2 people + 2 voting tickets + 2-cupcake holder.
$15: Admission for up to 4 people + 4 voting tickets + 4-cupcake holder.
$25: Admission for up to 6 people + 6 voting tickets + 6-cupcake holder.
