The VTC Microbusiness Marketing Leverage Program is open and accepting applications! This is a reimbursable grant program to leverage existing marketing funds. The program is a 1:1 match, with a $5,000 max award.
Who is eligible: small tourism-related business with 20 or fewer full-time equivalent employees, including boutique retail, restaurants, food trucks, small attractions, craft breweries, distilleries, wineries, boutique lodging and B&Bs, and events focused on shoulder season visitation.
Online applications are due by 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

Take a self-guided road trip through Isle of Wight County to learn more about noteworthy local figures and events of the American Revolution in honor of the United States’ Semiquincentennial, the 250th anniversary of the 1776 Declaration of Independence.
This route--peppered with tales of bravery, drama, military engagement, politics and the domestic scene--has 14 stops, and each has audio guides and information to reveal the significance of these locations. A map view and driving directions guide users from one stop to the next. Along the way, there is additional information about things to do, places to explore and food stops for hungry road-trippers.
