Synopsis:
Death pays a call to an English household and discovers he has come to the wrong house. This is the first time that he has ever made such a mistake. Slowly he comes to realize that people are dying without his help. He realizes that he has lost his lethal touch and feels, totally, undermined and helpless. When Lester Hedges, kicks the bucket, also without the help of Death, it is time to find out who has usurped his power. Suspecting treachery of the greatest magnitude, England’s most cunning detective, Inspector Mirabelle, is called to get to the bottom of things. Mirabelle matches wits with Death, and at the same time, tries to make what he can of a “lady of the night”, Constance Lawson; Alfie Crown, the landlord of the deceased; and a very odd character in a tweed suit, Mr. Jonathan Pike.
Directed by Donna Berard, the production stars in alphabetical order: Vincent Barras as Alfie Crown, Ryan Berard as Death, Kayla Heinz-Bonner as Contance Lawson, Adel Catherine Comeaux as Jane, IPAL newcomer, Beth Finch, as Irene Hedges, Perry Ledet as Inspector Mirabelle, John Lagneaux as Jonathan Pike, and Milton Resweber as Michael Hedges.
