Congratulations to Saskia Lane, 2020-2021 Colleen Porter Artist Development Resident!
Brooklyn-based Saskia Lane is a Juilliard-trained bassist, composer, performer, director, and educator whose work spans many genres. Currently, Saskia along with librettist Zoe Palmer, is composing her third immersive music theater work for babies,  AMMAMMA , commissioned by and premiering at Carnegie Hall in fall 2020. She is also developing a new music theater piece for audiences 7 & up, THE SWEETEST LIFE , which will be presented in workshop at Joe’s Pub in New York in the new year.

Students will have a blast learning about the three branches of government, the First Amendment, presidential elections, democracy, the judicial process, and more.
