Fairfax County COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Response

IPHI has partnered with the Fairfax County Health Department to build workforce capacity to respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency. Since May 2020, IPHI has hired and trained nearly 700 new staff through a unique week-long training program and partnership model. Read More.
The Food Equity Council’s COVID-19 Food Assistance Response: A One-Year Update

This past year, the Prince George's County Food Equity Council stepped up to lead Prince George’s County’s emergency food security response by launching the county’s most comprehensive food assistance database and hosting virtual convenings to share response resources and best practices.

ImmunizeVA: Expanding Vaccinations and Immunization Coverage throughout Virginia

IPHI is a key partner of ImmunizeVA, a coalition of stakeholders working to expand immunization in Virginia and ensure residents are not impacted by a preventable disease. The coalition is supporting vaccine clinics, educational campaigns, and more.

Building Community & Workforce Capacity with the DC Healthy Housing Collaborative (DCHHC)

As a core member of the DCHHC, IPHI is working to address policy and systems change that will lead to healthier housing conditions. Last year, IPHI expanded this work through a new grant to address housing conditions that put children at risk for lead exposure and asthma.
