IPM Back-to-School Event Distributes Backpacks,
Supplies to Over 150 Families in Need
With significant community support and energy, IPM Food Pantry was able to provide backpacks filled with age-appropriate school supplies as well as fresh food for their families so that 455 children will have what they need to succeed in the upcoming school year.

We thank Mount Carmel Christian Church, which once again hosted the Drive-Through event, provided financial support and served as the sorting location and equipped us with volunteers for the backpack assembly.

Thank you, also, to the dozen-plus organizations and many individual donors who contributed supplies and backpacks! An A+ effort by all!
Quotes from some of the families:

From a neighbor raising five of her own children, plus three others whose parents can't care for them: "These eight backpacks filled with school supplies mean so much. It saves me a lot of money that I can now use to pay other bills such as electricity."
From a neighbor whose family just lost everything in a house fire: “Thank you so much for helping my kids get prepared for school. They are so excited!”
From a neighbor whose family has had medical issues this year: "The kindness of people like you reminds us of God's love.Have a blessed week."
IPM's New Building Takes Shape Inside and Out
We are excited to see IPM's new pantry and distribution center, at 4623 Aicholtz Rd. near Eastgate, change daily as the indoor construction of walls, ceilings and floors progresses. The parking lot has been paved as well, and our new facility is really starting to feel like home.

If the work continues on its current track, we anticipate a move-in date by late October. We can't wait to share IPM's new facility with our generous donors, partners and neighbors!

We are currently at 80 percent of our $5 million goal for our new home. Click on the button below to contribute to IPM's Reaching Further ● Feeding More Campaign:
Thank You to Our Summer Picnic Volunteers!
Thanks to the hands-on volunteer teams and monetary support from multiple organizations, IPM was able to serve 1,152 lunches to 576 families for our Tasty Tuesday (Newtown, in June) and Hot Food Friday (Amelia, July) summer picnics.

Nearly 50 volunteers from Armstrong Chapel, Doscher's Candies, Mercy Hospital Anderson, Mount Carmel Christian Church, Cincinnati Eastside Rotary Club, Mercy Hospital Clermont and Savor Seasonings fired up the grill and packed up lunches to hand out to 576 families who came through our Drive-Through Pantry lines.

We are grateful for all the friendliness and interaction with our neighbors that accompanied these summer picnic bags!
