Back to School Season Kicks Off
With Distribution of 350 Backpacks
Thanks to you, 350 school children in families we serve are heading back to school with new,
well-stocked backpacks!

Despite a rain deluge/lightning delay on Saturday, we were able to supply backpacks and food to more than 100 families with students from kindergarteners to high school seniors at IPM's Back to School Mobile Pantry at Mt. Carmel Christian Church. We will distribute remaining backpacks to an additional 50-plus families at our Amelia Drive-Through Pantry this week.

We applaud the dedication of Associate Minister of Discipleship Ministries Arlan Howard and his enthusiastic Mt. Carmel Christian Church volunteers! Through a very soggy morning they delivered age-appropriate backpacks to the smiles of the children receiving them.

The need this year was widespread. Families signed up from more than 20 school districts across IPM's service area, including Lynchburg and Fayetteville-Perry in Brown County; Bethel-Tate, Milford, Goshen and New Richmond in Clermont County; and Forest Hills, Fairfax and Cincinnati Public Schools in Hamilton County.

May this be a fruitful year for all our students!
"I live on disability and couldn't do this without help," said Cindy, who is raising her two grandchildren because her daughter passed away.
"You guys are awesome!" said Matt, father of three. "Thank you! You don't know what this means to us."
"God put us in the right place," said Troy, who is raising her sister's two children in addition to two of her own. "I work really hard and try not to seek help, but sometimes I can't do it all."

IPM's Barrels of Bourbon Raffle Fundraiser
We are so grateful for IPM's generous supporters!

Thanks to you, we raised over $8,300 from our Barrels of Bourbon Raffle to provide food assistance to our clients throughout the community.

We're grateful as well for the work of Steve Elliott, our Bourbon Connoisseur, who gathered quite the array of bourbon for our three prize packages.

Congratulations to our winners! Cheers!
Summer Hunger Drive Reminder
IPM's Summer Hunger Campaign is once again helping families feeling extra financial stress because their children can't access free or reduced-price meals when not in school.
Thanks to a generous matching grant from the Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile, Jr. Foundation, the impact of your Summer Hunger donation will be doubled. Scan the QR code at left or click here to help families bridge the summer food gap.
