The Giving Box Brigade is growing! IPM Food Pantry partnered with Mercy Health - Anderson and Clermont Hospitals to install Giving Boxes on both hospital campuses that were dedicated Sept. 24. Read more about the Giving Box unveilings here.

The free-standing pantry boxes, stocked with non-perishable items such as canned food, peanut butter, jelly, fruit cups and boxed cereal, are available 24/7 to provide free, anonymous assistance to our neighbors facing food insecurity.

The hospital Giving Boxes join these IPM Giving Box locations: two in the parking lot of Newtown United Methodist Church, one at IPM's Newtown location and one at Clermont Northeastern Preschool in Owensville, for a total of six so far in our community.

The boxes may be stocked by individuals in the community to help provide access to food, one meal at a time, whenever it's needed.

The food is free to anyone, and volunteers note that the boxes are emptied almost daily.

IPM is also actively planning additional Giving Box locations throughout our service area.

For information on building or filling a Giving Box in your community, contact IPM at 513-561-3932.
"IPM Food Pantry is blessed to partner with Mercy Health to bridge the food insecurity gap for our neighbors. Having these Giving Boxes available 24/7, right here in a Mercy Health hospital parking lot, allows families a quick, convenient and anonymous way to access food when they need it the most." — Alida Hart, IPM Food Pantry President and CEO
Sips and Sweets Launches Giving Season
With Fun and Fellowship
Ivy Hills Country Club hosted Sips and Sweets, a fundraising and community outreach event for IPM Food Pantry, on Oct. 1. IPM Board members invited friends to learn about IPM’s evolving mission of adopting an “inside/out” service model that increasingly brings food out to the communities most in need of food throughout eastern Hamilton, Clermont and western Brown counties.

Nearly 100 guests were treated to an afternoon tea, along with a silent auction of festively decorated cakes, a raffle of table centerpieces and seasonal wreaths and “candy bar” of sweets to purchase. The event proceeds are supporting IPM’s mission of feeding families to create a thriving, food-secure community.

DID YOU KNOW? IPM has community gardens in both Newtown and Amelia, which help us to provide fresh produce to our clients throughout the summer. Dan and Joe Motz (The Motz Group), volunteer Ellen Noble and Grant's Farm & Greenhouses donated abundant seedlings for the gardens. Volunteers weeded, tended and harvested the beds. This year's combined crop: About 420 pounds of produce and herbs, including tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, green beans and broccoli.
