IPM Christmas Store at Crossroads East Side
Delivers Holiday Cheer for Nearly 500 Families
Thanks to YOUR generosity, we saw the spirit of the season come alive in the faces of children and adults alike at IPM Food Pantry's 2022 Christmas Store at Crossroads East Side Church last week.

At the three-day event, 360 client families were able to shop from an abundance of gifts for their families at the Christmas Store, choosing items ranging from baby toys and teenage gifts to presents for senior citizens.

Additionally, IPM was able to distribute toys and gifts to over 130 clients at the Amelia and Newtown Drive-Through Pantries.

"I came out to shop the Christmas store today and was able to pick some nice gifts that my daughter will like," a Christmas Store client told us. "I can’t express my appreciation enough! Thanks for blessing my child and many other parents for the celebration of Jesus' birthday. Happy Holidays to all that helped make this opportunity available to so many."
A client in the Grown-Up Store shared: "I’m a senior living in Bethel Woods, I’m limited on my Social Security even though I work a part-time job. It’s not enough to go around. I got presents for all seven grandkids all wrapped and ready, but guess who got left out? Me. So I decided to sign up for the Adult Store and treat myself. That meant a lot — I got a new purse and a blanket. It’s meant a lot to be able to do for myself, that I didn’t have to spend a lot of money, that your organization helped and people donated."

We are so grateful for the thousands of gifts that were donated, the hundreds of hours put in by scores of volunteers, the holiday cheer provided by Santa Claus and Power of Music carolers and the partnership with Crossroads East Side that made the Christmas Store an unforgettable experience for IPM clients.

"Thank you for all of the hard work of the IPM staff to create an event like the Christmas stores! It is an inspiration to experience. Thank you, too, for giving me and the group from my church the opportunity to serve alongside of you. We were all touched by the gratefulness of all the clients we worked with."   Christmas Store Volunteer

"This year we had 33 different organizations that collected over 6,000 gifts for our Christmas Store. The collaboration and generosity of our community is overwhelming. The smiles and thankful conversations I heard from our clients warmed my heart. I am so proud to be part of such a great community." Nicole Gordon, IPM Manager of Client Services

“We are so grateful to have the community come together to ensure everyone from 1 – 100 has gifts for this holiday season. IPM’s Christmas Store empowers parents and caregivers to personally select gifts for their children and loved ones. Among the numerous special moments was an afternoon of shopping with the Boys & Girls Club members. It was heartwarming to see the children lovingly shop for their caregivers and siblings. Your generosity enables us to bring the spirit of Christmas to our families in need.” Alida Hart, IPM President and CEO

"Thank you so much for the opportunity to host this and to come alongside you as you love many people in our community in need during this Holiday season. It was such a blessing for folks in our community to rally behind this and can't wait to be a part of this next year again." Victor Martinez, Crossroads Community Impact Director
