Car-free Community Offers Mobility Bundle
Culdesac, a new community in Arizona that was designed to be car-free (private vehicles are actually banned from a quarter-mile around the site) will offer residents a bundle of discounted mobility services as part of monthly rent. Its main plaza will feature micro-mobility docks, car-share zones, and a light rail station, and residents will get deep discounts on that and more.
$10B More in Transit Funding?
A coalition of transit advocacy groups has called for $10 billion more in federal funding for transit as part of the Build Back Better Act. The group says further investment in transit funding will help boost both environmental solutions and decrease inequity, particularly in urban areas.
