Industry News White House Pushes for Electric Transportation

U.S. President Joe Biden Thursday rolled out tightened pollution rules for cars and trucks as part of a multi-pronged effort to get more people and businesses into electric vehicles. In a South Lawn announcement, Biden also discussed plans to build more vehicle batteries in the U.S.

Photo: Ford Detroit Launches Smart Parking Lab Detroit is preparing to launch its Smart Parking Lab, offering real-world testing of smart parking technologies as part of a partnership between Ford, Bosch, Bedrock, and the State of Michigan. Opening in September, the garage will also test if automatic smart vehicle charging can be integrated into autonomous systems.
