Food Allergies K-12: Your Rights and Responsibilities
Have you wondered what your rights are as a person managing food allergy? Or what your responsibilities are when serving the food allergy community? Join us for the first webinar in FARE’s free six-part webinar series on patient rights to examine the rights and responsibilities that parents and schools have when it comes to children with food allergies in grades K-12. Hear practical advice on navigating the system and learn how children with food allergies face unique challenges posed by COVID-19.

Courageous Kids Climbing - Climbing on Stuff

We are sharing this from our friends at Courageous Kids Climbing:
Climbing on Stuff Event Schedule

Climbing on Stuff is our program which provides FREE opportunities for school-age children who are legally blind to “look” at something unique with their hands. In the past, we have looked at aircraft, smokejumpers and Native Americans.

On Saturday, October 2, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, we will be visiting the Idaho State Police in Lewiston, Idaho. This will be an opportunity for the kids to look at police cars and meet some of the Idaho State Troopers!

On Saturday, November 13, we will be visiting Palmdale, California for a special event to be conducted by one of the major aerospace companies. This event will run from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.

September 19, 2021 – YMCA Camp Colman, Longbranch, Washington. 10:00 am until noon.
September 25, 2021 – YMCA, Spokane Valley, WA. 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
September 26, 2021 – Washington State University, Pullman, WA. 9:00 am until 11:00 am.
October 2, 2021 - Climbing on Stuff, Idaho State Police, Lewiston, ID. 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. 
October 3, 2021 – IceClimbers ice skating at LC Ice Arena, Lewiston, ID. 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
October 23, 2021 – Teton Rock Gym, Driggs, ID.
November 6, 2021 – The Pad Climbing Center, Henderson, NV. 10:00 am until noon.
November 7, 2021 – Gripstone Climbing, Prescott, AZ. 10:00 am until noon.

Join Idaho Parents Unlimited for helpful tips for a safe, organized, informed and stress-free start to the 2021-2022 school year.

We will be continuing our new format this month with two parts.

Part one will be our regular webinar format, (Recorded but only the presenters are sharing their cameras.)

Part two will be an Open Forum Question and Answer session where all participants can share their cameras if they choose. Part two will not be recorded!
