Superintendent's Advisory Council Seeks Students

If you have a student with a disability who would be interested in applying for the Superintendent's new Advisory Council, please check this out:

"According to Kristin Rodine, public information officer for the State Department of Education, Ybarra is looking for a group of 12 students from all over the state and in a variety of ages “with different backgrounds, cultures, interests, school sizes and parts of Idaho.”
...

The application for the Student Advisory Council is due by June 25 and the selection will be done in August. Rodine said the council is being advertised through media coverage, public appearances, school districts and word of mouth. The application is available in English and Spanish.

Join Idaho Parents Unlimited as we look at how to read and understand the Individualized Education Program (IEP) for your child.

We will be trying a new format this month with two parts.

Part one will be our regular webinar format, (Recorded but only the presenters are sharing their cameras.)

Part two will be an Open Forum Question and Answer session where all participants can share their cameras if they choose. Part two will not be recorded!
