Annual Golf Classic, October 10th

Sunday, November 6th is When Daylight Saving Time Ends at 2 am

Fire departments across America always advise us to replace the batteries in our smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms twice a year - at the start of standard time and daylight saving time. Set clocks back one hour. Click here to watch this video.

Tuesday, November 8th is Election Day

It's your right as an American to vote so please be sure to exercise that right on this important day. Polling stations open early and stay open late on Election Day. Several states even have early voting already in place. Get out and VOTE! To learn about the history of voting, click here.

While honoring those who've made the ultimate sacrifice, and those who are currently serving our armed forces, please keep in mind this is a federal holiday. As a result, many government offices and banks will be closed. Public transit systems will likely be operating on a holiday schedule, so be sure to carefully check those timetables before heading out for the day.
