CAMEO SHOOTING AND EDUCATION COMPLEX

TO HOST 2023 IRC!

ICORE, along with CSEC General Manager Walt Proulx, is excited to announce Cameo Shooting and Education Complex (CSEC), Palisade, Colorado, as the venue for the 2023 International Revolver Championship (IRC). Once again, RUGER is the Title Sponsor! The main match will be September 29-30, with a shoot-off and match results on Sunday, October 1. The match will consist of 14 stages, including a chronograph stage and two classifiers. Range staff and volunteers will have the opportunity to shoot the match over the previous two days.

The Action Pistol Group (Scott Martin, President) and its volunteers will host the match. ICORE members Jim Burnell and Kurt Ulrich are hard at work, with Jim as Match Director and Kurt as Range Master.

CSEC provides unparalleled facilities, including 20+ massive shooting bays. Located in each bay are covered staging areas with room to accommodate two 12-person squads, and benches large enough for shooter equipment! The range has Wi-Fi at every shooting bay, allowing for quick downloading of shooting scores to PractiScore. With a triple redundancy, scores are also e-mailed to competitors after each stage, eliminating the need for paper back-up.

The city of Grand Junction has dozens of hotels, B&Bs, and a wide variety of restaurants and watering holes. A match hotel will be named. Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) is close, and flights are available from airports across the country.

Besides the match, the area has a lots of activities for non-shooting companions and is a great opportunity for a vacation add-on to your IRC participation. The Colorado River flows adjacent to the range property. Grand Mesa National Forest is only minutes away and boasts dozens of lakes and recreational opportunities.
