IRCC Foundation recognized at St. Francis Reflections We Honor Vets Pinning Ceremony

The much anticipated Pinning Ceremony for the St. Francis Lifestage Care, We Honor Veterans Program was held at Sonata Viera on Friday March 4, 2022. There were well over 100 residents and guests in attendance. The IRCC Foundation awarded a $2,500 grant to this program on July 19, 2021. The IRCC Foundation was recognized by Christine Tate, Veteran Coordinator at St. Francis Reflections as a major contributor to the Program and the Ceremony. Approximately 40 Veterans were recognized, pinned, “coined”, and received a certificate. Additionally, there were about 35 military spouses who were pinned and received Certificates. Making the presentations were members of the IRCC Foundation (Brian Whalen and Jerry Gill, see picture), Also assisting in the presentations were Officers from the Military Officers Assn of America, Cape Canaveral Chapter, (also a contributor to the program) and a large contingent from Rolling Thunder®, Inc., Florida Chapter 1.

"The Blue Continuum" Book Signing - February 2, 2022

Resident Bob McNeilly spoke to a crowd of IRCC members on Feb 2, before signing copies of his book, "The Blue Continuum." During a career in law enforcement that spanned 37 years, Bob served as the chief of the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police --from 1996 until his retirement in 2006. Bob has been a consultant to the United States Department of Justice and a consent-decree monitor to the New Orleans Police Department.
