This year our Grade 12 Legacy project looked a little different. With the constraints of COVID-19 students couldn’t give back in the same way they have in previous years. So this year’s grad class set out to make gift bags for vulnerable members of our community.
Grade 12 coordinators, Renatta and Sam made a connection with Angie Lohr, the executive director of Hope Outreach. This organization supports women in the Okanagan who are homeless, living in addiction and recovery, and various other unfortunate circumstances. We were able to provide 50 bags! Hope Outreach will deliver these bags in the days leading up to Christmas.
The planning and organizing was all done by Grade 12 students... but we had to call on some grade 11 elves to help finish it all off.
Thank you to the grade 11s and 12s for your support in making this happen!
