SCHOOL HIGHLIGHTS
SPIRIT WEEK
T'was a great week of school spirit. We started off on Monday with games per cohort, Tuesday we dressed as Canadians do: Canadian Tuxedo and plaid, if all else fails, favourite Canadian team jersey. By Wednesday we were stuck in the past with "Decades" day. Thursday had us seeing double, and we closed the week with good ol' "Green and Gold day". Way to show your Mustang spirit, team!
Wait, are those Mr. Wilson's siblings? They say imitation is the truest form of flattery.
Ladies, care to explain why, oh why, you still have the original 80s jackets in your closets?
The Alberta version of the "Canadian tuxedo".

MISSION TEAM UPDATES
What a beautiful day we had today serving the poor in our own community.

Mission Impossible with COVID? No way! With God all things are POSSIBLE (Matthew 19:26).

The 18 missionaries who had planned to travel and serve with Soles4Souls in Costa Rica January 2021 have new plans and they started this week. First project: helping clean up the one Daily Courier building downtown that will become Kelowna’s newest 40 bed homeless shelter this winter. Opening December 1st, there is much work to be done to transform and clean this facility! Cleaning floors, painting, scrubbing shower stalls and toilets, dusting walls...service is love in action.

Way to rep Jesus and Immac ladies!!

Stay tuned for more exciting news from the mission team....

Senior religion classes will also work some shifts here this week in preparation for housing Kelowna’s vulnerable homeless population.

God bless young people who want to make the world a better place. Good stuff.

Gift cards will be given to the local Society of St. Vincent de Paul for distribution. Cash donations or gift cards are due by December 9th. Our goal is to contribute 50 gift cards to SSVP.
