Welcome to the latest edition of the IRIS Update! After two years of building, refining, and testing the news version of IRIS, we are excited to announce that we've now reached an important milestone—all IRIS-using counties are now either fully migrated to IRIS 10 or are in the process of completing their testing period and expected to migrate by this summer.
In addition to the latest information on the rollout, below, you'll also find information on the newly released IRIS 10 VMS module, as well as a new log in option we've added on the redesigned IRIS informational webpage.
IRIS 10 Rollout Update
Since last fall, our team has been steadily migrating counties onto IRIS 10, and we now have 16 counties (dark blue on map) using the system on a daily basis. Additionally, the final 12 IRIS-using counties (light blue) are all in various states of testing, and our focus over the next couple of months will be to move those counties permanently onto the new system as well.
As we work with this last group of testing counties, it is possible that our anticipated time table will shift, but our goal is to have all testing counties moved onto IRIS 10 by early summer with IRIS 9 support ending by the end of summer. As we work toward this goal, we'll continue to share updates on our progress and provide specific dates once we can identify them with more certainty.
Following the migration, we will continue to work to augment and improve IRIS 10 as the team focuses its attention and resources on system enhancements and wish list items, such as more user customization options for users.
If you have any questions about the migration or other IRIS-related concerns, please let us know at support@aociris.org.
