LGBTQ+ Pride Month
June 2022
Nearly 1 in 10 LGBTQ people in the United States experienced workplace discrimination in the last year. Despite progress being made in the last decade, homophobia and transphobia still exist in the workplace. During Pride Month, many companies take the opportunity to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, but creating a genuinely inclusive culture means taking year-round action. Use this month as a catalyst to increase LGBTQ+ inclusiveness within your organization on a permanent basis. IRMA is committed to supporting our members and local government in the advancement of creating and maintaining diverse and inclusive workplaces and communities. Members can utilize our DEI Grant or D&I Resources to enhance their organization's mission on DEI.
