ISA Scholarship for Islamic education Announcement
Mission
To encourage and support the pursuit of in-depth studies in Islam
Aim
The Board of Trustees at the Islamic Society of Augusta shall provide limited scholarships to applicants to reputable academic programs dedicated to furthering Islamic knowledge
Criteria for Selection of Grantees
Priority of award shall be determined based on multiple factors:
1. Academic merit: Applicant shows evidence of outstanding academic performance (e.g. academic transcripts, SAT/ACT score, etc.)
2. Evidence of passion to pursue Islamic knowledge (e.g. high achievement at the weekend Islamic school, AIA, Quran Hifz School, etc.)
3. Services and/or active participation in an Islamic organization (e.g. Youth group activity, teaching at ISA school, outstanding achievement at MIST)
4. Financial need: Applicants who apply under this category must provide evidence of financial need (e.g. previous year’s tax year return, FAFSA eligibility, etc.)

• Evidence of passion to pursue College knowledge (e.g. chemistry, biology, math, languages, psychology and other studies
• Services and/or involvement in an Islamic organization (e.g. Youth group , philanthropy, community services aimed towards human advancement
• Financial need: Applicant should provide previous year’s tax year return may be submitted to document the financial need)
