Dear ISACA South Florida followers;

We are excited to start the upcoming new year. As Director of Communications, I have been trying to enhance the quality and quantity of our communications. I was very excited to see our members return to in-person events that were done this past year like the Global CommunITy Day event or the CISO Skills Social. Looking forward into 2023 as a Board, we have an ambitious goal of expanding our community in South Florida and increase our worldwide outreach. We have many exciting events coming up, such as our 16th annual WOW! Conference and our first ever Hockey Night. Please follow us on LinkedIn to stay on top of all of our upcoming events.

Common Flaws in Running Third-Party Risk Management Programs - Webinar

We have continued our webinars for CPEs! We would like to thank Dave Mayer, for a great presentation over the common flaws in running Third Party Risk Management Programs. We had a very successful amount of participants from around the world.

Holiday Party ISACA & SIM

ISACA South Florida Chapter hosted the first Holiday Party in two years. The party took place in General Provision on Las Olas, together with SIM South Florida Chapter. It was a lovely event with almost 80 attendees networking from both associations enjoying some food, drinks and laughs. We will have more social events and parties in 2023.

TechPalooza

Members from our Board of Directors represented ISACA South Florida at the TechPalooza event in the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Discovery and Science. We got a sneak-peek into up and coming startups and even robots!

ISACA/ISC2 Partner Event

Members of our Board were invited as guests to the ISC2 (International Information System Security Certification Consortium) End Of Year Celebration party on December 6th! As a chapter, we are committed to enhancing our close relationship with other South Florida professional associations in tech to blend together as one big community. Stay tuned for more joint events open to our members!
