ISACA South Florida: Digital Update
We've kicked off the new year with an overhaul to our website and a fresh lineup of upcoming events to educate, connect, and build our community!
Our theme for the WOW Conference this year: Reality Bytes! From data breaches to social engineering to virtual reality , the dynamic digital landscape is filled with challenges and opportunities. Get the latest directly from the experts on March 1, 2019, at FIU's Kovens Conference Center from 8:00am to 5:00pm, followed by a happy hour reception. 8 hours of CPE.

Save the date for our April Dine & Learn event. We're going to provide an update on ISACA's new Cybersecurity Audit Training and Certificate Program . This program provides audit/assurance professionals with knowledge needed to excel in cybersecurity audits.

The event will be on April 3, 2019, in Broward County. Dinner will be provided and CPE credits will be available. Details to follow.
Giving Back
In addition to providing professional development for our members, our chapter takes pride in uplifting and giving back to our community.

Last month, our Director of Programming and SheLeadsTech Liaison, Julia Costin , organized a toy drive for Paradise Childcare in Oakland Park, Florida. Thank you to everyone who contributed--and thank you, Julia!
40 Years of Community
ISACA South Florida Turned 40 Years Old
ISACA South Florida was chartered as the 33rd chapter of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, South Florida Chapter, on December 2nd, 1978. For the past 40 years, the chapter has benefited from the service of generous and competent professionals.

Throughout the years, ISACA South Florida enhanced the professional community in our region through conferences, certification reviews for CISA and CISM certifications, training events, social gatherings, and professional networking. Our chapter serves as your gateway to ISACA International, a global network of more than 200 chapters in over 80 countries with more than 140,000 members.

Today, ISACA South Florida has more than 1,000 members, and we carry on the traditions of education and community building. We are grateful for our community, our members, and our board for making this chapter an exemplar of quality.

If you're interested in volunteering or joining the board, contact our current chapter president, Rob Valdez .
