Including Cyber Security in Pandemic Preparations

Bird Flu, MERS, SARS and now Coronavirus has the potential to change the workforce. In the event of a pandemic that impacts Tallahassee, a percentage of the workforce will not be willing or able to come to the office, yet the critical work must still be accomplished. Strategic planning requirements for pandemic preparations that include remote workers, isolated work areas and contract employees must also take into account the risk associated with cyber security. Cyber criminals will not take the day off because the State of Florida is battling a flu epidemic. Cyber criminals will more likely use it as a window of opportunity. Public and private sector organizations must be ready.

Discovering and Developing New Apps (Skills)

February 12, 2020
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM (EST)

Does it seem some women just seem to have it all together? Where does that confidence come from? Why do some women undervalue their skills? Ever set aspirational goals that they seem unachievable?

Just as old apps get replaced by new ones, we must continue to review our personal apps (skills) and upgrade. Women have many more core and multipurpose apps than they often accredit to themselves. Recognize that, in many cases, the dedicated and focused apps are the building blocks and crossover apps for future career growth and advancement.
We will discuss ways that women can:
  • Uncover and recognize your personal operating model and core apps
  • Grasp and distinguish your multipurpose apps
  • Identify the necessary dedicated/focus apps of your specific role
  • Take action to transform old operating models
  • Upgrade your personal apps
  • Apply useful apps to help advance
