Tutorials & Registration Reminders
Greetings ISASI Members & Supporters,
If you have not yet reviewed this year’s Tutorial offerings, we encourage you to do so. One offering of particular note is Investigator Personal Safety / BBP Recurrent Training, facilitated by Senior Air Safety Investigator John Roberts of the Transportation Safety Institute / U.S. Department of Transportation. Nearly all investigators require initial and recurrent training in this area, and ISASI 2026 is an ideal opportunity to complete it. The tutorial will feature bloodborne pathogen training along with hands-on exercises using personal protective equipment.
We are also pleased to offer a second tutorial, Technical Response Team Preparedness for Air Accident Investigations, presented by Kate Keogh, Senior Manager of Flight Safety Investigations & Accident Technical Response at United Airlines. Topics will include aircraft recovery, industrial hygiene, site restoration, and tabletop and full-scale exercise planning.
Both tutorials are half-day sessions and will be offered in both morning and afternoon time slots, allowing participants to attend both.
If you have already registered for the Seminar and would like to add the Tutorials, simply use the “Modify Registration” feature in CVENT. Please contact me if you need assistance.
Important Reminder
Time is running out to book your hotel room at the group rate. A limited number of rooms remain, and there will be no extensions once the deadline passes.
We must soon submit estimated attendance numbers to the hotel for food and beverage planning, the most challenging part of seminar logistics. Last-minute registrations can strain hotel capacity and risk food shortages (as we have experienced in the past). Conversely, late cancellations leave us paying for meals we cannot recover. Please help us maintain fiscal responsibility: if you plan to attend, register as soon as possible; if your plans have changed, cancel promptly.
All @isasi.org email functionality has been restored. We apologize for any inconvenience the recent issues may have caused.
I look forward to seeing you in Boston in just 46 days as we continue to “Chart the Course of Aviation Safety” at ISASI 2026!
