We are extending the deadline to nominate yourself or a colleague as a panel member for the upcoming webinar “Lifestyle Behavior Research in the Context of Structural Racism.”
We are seeking volunteer panelists to share their research experiences and insights, and to engage in a virtual discussion with other panelists and attendees, about structural racism in lifestyle behavior research.
The goal of this virtual event is to strengthen the capacity of our global SIG members to recognize structural racism, address it through their research, and advance anti-racist research that supports public health and promotes health equity. We invite panelists representing a wide spectrum of expertise, from researchers with many years of training and experience to researchers still developing expertise. Importantly, we seek to include the perspectives of researchers who have been historically excluded or marginalized.
Please email Amanda McClain if you are interested in serving as a panelist. The new deadline is February 5th.
